· These little redwood trees are growing in sterile conditions and can travel any where in the world without agriculture inspection. Opening the top may allow contaminates in to the sterile tube. If the media is contaminated the tube will not pass agriculture inspection.
· Your own redwood tree can continue growing inside this tube until the food for the roots is gone or until you open the top.
· If the tube comes to you with the food loose or shaken, follow the direction below.
· You may enjoy your redwood tree in the tube for several months or plant it right away.
Directions for removing the tree from the tube.
· Use a long narrow stick or knife around the inside of the tube to loosen the media.
· Tap the tube against the sink
· Rinse with water to shake the tree loose.
· Plant the tree in good quality potting mix.
· Following the extraction mist the trees foliage. This may be several times a day or when you see wilting.
· Grow the tree inside to help protect against the elements.
· Continue misting for several days.
· Until the tree has grown for several months to a year, it needs to be protected from extreme cold and heat.
